- All of the woodlands in our care are certified to stringent, independent, third-party-audited standards.
- We have implemented a fiber tracking system at our pulp, paper and tissue mills to ensure that the fiber used – including that purchased from external suppliers – comes from responsible sources and is legally harvested.
- All of our pulp, paper and tissue mills and wood products facilities are third-party certified according to one or more of three internationally recognized chain of custody (CoC) standards: Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®), Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®).
- Our pulp, paper and tissue mills, wood products facilities and woodlands operations are also covered by environmental management systems (EMS) – the majority certified to stringent ISO 14001:2015 standards.1
