Certification by Operation
- All of the woodlands in our care are certified to stringent, third-party-audited sustainable forest management (SFM) standards.
- We have implemented a fiber-tracking system at our mills to ensure that the fiber used – including that purchased from external suppliers – comes from responsible sources and is legally harvested.
- A number of our mills have also been third-party certified to internationally recognized chain of custody (CoC) standards. All North American facilities will be certified by mid-2012.
Electronic Copies of Certificates
Customers and other end-users often require detailed certification information for their records. To facilitate this, copies of SFM and CoC certificates for our pulp and paper mills, wood products facilities and woodlands operations are available for download.
